Alfriston: journeys between Alfriston and Seaford, Newhaven or Peacehaven are on the normal tariff. Alfriston to anywhere else (for example Eastbourne) adds a £12.00 surcharge because the taxi doesn't pass through our base towns. Any Alfriston address to another Alfriston address is a flat £20.00.
Airports and London: the fixed fares are for journeys starting or ending in Seaford or Newhaven. Peacehaven and Alfriston add £5, Saltdean and East Dean add £8, Eastbourne and Brighton add £10. London fixed fares each way: south £175, west £195, east £195, central £220, north £235. Pick-ups outside those towns add the road distance from the pick-up address to Denton Corner, Newhaven at £1.75 a mile on top of the fixed price.
Journeys that neither start nor finish in Seaford, Newhaven, Peacehaven or Lewes add an approach charge for the empty miles: the road distance from Seaford Railway Station to whichever end of the journey is nearer, at £1.30 a mile when the pick-up is within 5 miles of the station, or £1.70 a mile when it's further out. Journeys coming back into our home area (for example East Dean to Seaford) are the standard tariff price.
Monday to Saturday daytime tariff (7am–11pm). Additional charges may apply outside these hours. Car prices: saloon and estate are the standard tariff price; 6 seat MPV and 8 seat minibus are +50% on the standard tariff; executive is +90%. The same uplifts apply to the fixed airport prices above, and airport charges such as parking and drop-off fees are paid by the customer.
